Day 4

This is Mondays and its a day late.

Today I learned that a couple of guys have dropped out. I don't know for sure if its true but it kinda makes sense since our dosage increases tomorrow and one of the guys I know was already experiancing side effects like light tachycardia. I want to point out that if side effects ever become close to dangerous to a volunteers health than they are expelled from the study. So there is a chance, but I doubt it, that he was kicked out.

Today was fairly uneventful except that Josh and James came by to drop off a 36in flat screen for me, so that was cool. Although I didn't use it much because I had a paper to work on.

Something I noticed about today is that there has been some rising tension in my roommates concerning the staff. The staff aren't always the nicest and most accomodating people but I don't think its in range of getting upset about it. Although I am pretty easy going and or I could be on the antidepressant. Anyway they talked about some of the wrongs that happened to them and in every circumstance the staff were just trying to follow the rules. That's not saying the rules are the best, for example, visiting time only last 20min and they got after my roommate becuase he was going over even though nobody was scheduled after him. Although I wouldn't get mad at the staff, they didn't come up with the rules they're just trying to do their job.

I am a little nervous about tomorrow since dosing increases for the first time and I could start feeling side effects. Although there is a guy bigger than me who is already experiancing side effects but obviously weight isn't the only factor in determing when side effects present.

Also it was nice talking to a few people today via text, so feel free to text I have nothing but time on my hands.
